Vehicle Classing
Vehicles are classed by the fastest driven speed of the vehicle. As such they are classed by top
speed achieved. Anyone who exceeds that speed is automatically in the next higher class and
is subject to any and all safety regulations of that class.
Classes for Half-Mile racing are as follows.
Class 5 Up to 150 MPH
Class 4 Up to 175 MPH
Class 3 Up to 185 MPH
Class 2 Up to 200 MPH
Class 1 Anything above 200 MPH
Classes for Roll-Racing are as follows:
Class 4 Up to 140 MPH
Class 3 Up to 160 MPH
Class 2 Up to 180 MPH
Class 1 Anything above 200 MPH
